another Bring a Trailer Project car but this one really isn't as bad as some…
1989 Ferrari 328 GTS Restoration of an amazing and rare spec of Nero on Creme. The 1989 was the last and final version of Ferrari’s famous wedge shaped mid engine cars. These cars were so synonymous with Ferrari that they became staples in TV and movies in the 1980s. The 1989 was the final version which had a completely revised suspension design of the original double wishbone architecture. Ferrari also installed the first of it’s kind ABS brakes and to accept this change the wheels were changed over to a convex design by Speedline. Other notable features include upgraded BOSCH CIS fuel injection and slightly better horsepower figures for the US market cars. This was a low mile example but a very tired example. Our client wanted to drive and enjoy the car while maintaining the originality. We tore into this project and restored the entire chassis, brakes, underside, engine bay and interior to perfection. All of the exterior panels still wear the original single stage Glasurit Nero Paint. Check out the two highlight videos below on this project to see what Auto Fanatic can do for your vintage Ferrari or other specialty car.
