The mission to create one of the best Ferrari F355 in the world has not…
This Ferrari F430 was a beautiful low mile example but it suffered from the notorious sticky button problem and peeling door jamb black out paint. This cars entire interior was carefully taken apart while protecting all the natural leather. The sticky problem can permanently stain and ruin the leather it is that critical to get this issue sorted correctly. Almost all dealers and shops across the country refuse to get this problem restored correctly and they rely in band aid fixes to sell and flip cars. The most common fix is they will clean the plastic with rubbing alcohol however this does remove the sticky coating but it does not maintain the matte black finish. The buttons and trim become shiny and cheap feeling. Ferrari uses a soft touch coating that is horrible and degrades over time yet they still continue to use this coating on all new Ferrari models.
We protect all the interior surfaces and wear nitrile gloves when performing this service. We have extensive experiences taking these cars apart and also have access to all factory shop manuals when needed.
You can see how the coating has failed and appears to be textured on this switch panel. The graphics are laser etched and there is only one premier company in the USA who performs this service to concours level quality.
Hundreds of photos get taken of each sub assembly as wiring designations all get documented and stored in our database according to the cars VIN# and customer project name.
All parts get bagged, tagged and inventory documented so we can photograph and maintain records to make sure nothing gets lost during the process.
Final assembly of this project. Both doors were removed, door panels removed so the black out paint can be restored to as new condition.
Looking better than new
