Restoration Project of a Porsche
2004 Ferrari 575M Gated 6 Speed Project.
This was a fun project as we sympathetically restored the interior and exterior along with the complete undercarriage, suspension, brakes and more. We then performed a major complete engine service which included belts, tensioners, seals, filters, plugs and more to make this car ready for an auction sale. There were less than 77 Ferrari 575M made in 2004 with a gated factory 6 speed and in Rosso Corso red.
The complete interior was painstakingly removed to repair sagging leather on the upper headline and A pillar and B pillar panels. We then removed everything to have all of the sticky plastic buttons, bezels and trim professionally restored by the top specialist in the USA. Taking these cars apart is a tedious task as these cars were all hand assembled and very difficult to remove parts without damaging anything. The reassembly process is even more difficult installed all the AC vents, clocking the gears, reattaching of the front hood cables and adjusting them perfectly to the glove box lock and HVAC controls.
Engine timing on the V12 was dialed in and new belts and upgrade tensioner bearings installed along with new crack shaft pulley hardware and all new accessory belts and more
Final detailing for the professional photographer to shoot this car for auction. We repainted the airboxes in the correct black satin vein finish, installed NOS decals throughout and even refinished the coolant tank and other areas that showed signs of wear. The finished results is one of the nicest Ferrari 575M in the world now.

Ferrari will never manufacture another V12 gated 6 speed ever again. These cars are strong investments to enjoy for years to come
